Alpha Wealth Foundation is guided by a board of leaders who believe deeply in stewardship, creativity, and building sustainable support systems for people and communities. Each board member brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal passion to the foundation’s work.

Chase Thomas — Chair of the Board

Chase Thomas serves as Chair of the Board for Alpha Wealth Foundation and is the owner of Alpha Wealth Funds. His leadership is shaped by a rare combination of financial acumen and deep artistic training.

Chase majored in dance at Brigham Young University, following a lifelong engagement with performance. He was named his high school’s Sterling Scholar for Dance and began performing with a dance-forward performance group at age nine, continuing through high school. After graduating from BYU, Chase spent a season as an intern dancer with Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) before ultimately shifting his professional focus to finance.

Outside the office, Chase is an avid skier and rock climber. His background in performance, discipline, and physical rigor informs the thoughtful, balanced leadership he brings to the foundation.

Morgan Thomas — Vice Chair of the Board

Morgan Thomas serves as Vice Chair of the Board and is a co-owner of Alpha Wealth Funds. She majored in Art History and Curatorial Studies at Brigham Young University and spent two years studying Studio Art, with a strong emphasis on drawing.

Morgan brings a deep appreciation for the arts, education, and intentional living to her leadership. She homeschools the couple’s four children and leads nature-based learning groups for a homeschooling co-op, fostering curiosity, creativity, and connection to place.

Earlier in her life, Morgan was a competitive concert pianist, competing through age 18 in the Dallas, Texas region. She later founded and ran Soaring Song Studios, a private piano studio serving children and adults from 2013 to 2020. Her background as both an artist and educator continues to shape her thoughtful, people-centered approach to the foundation’s work.

Jessica Heaton — Secretary & Managing Director

Jessica Heaton serves as Secretary of the Board and Managing Director of the foundation. She holds a degree in Exercise and Wellness from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Contemporary Dance, and has spent her career at the intersection of arts, education, and nonprofit leadership.

In 2010, Jessica founded the Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, where she learned firsthand what it takes to build and sustain a public charity. She later worked with Tanner Dance’s Arts in Education program, deepening her belief in dance as a powerful tool for social change, emotional intelligence, and accessibility across all ages.

Jessica joined the Alpha Wealth Foundation board and became its first employee in August 2025, helping to build the foundation’s structure, reach, and public presence. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, and travel.
